FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Front Desk:
- What time is check in and check out? Check in is 4:00 p.m. and check out is 12:00 noon.
- Will individuals in the group be required to present a credit card at check in? Yes, a credit card is required at check in.
Banquets & Meetings:
- What are the due dates for food & beverage guarantees and head count? Your catering manager needs guaranteed numbers at least 3 business days prior to your event at noon.
- Will the menu include meals for guests with special diets? Yes, please let your catering manager know if individuals in your group have special dietary requirements such as food allergies, diabetics, vegetarians, etc.
- Are children’s meals available? Yes, please ask your catering manager for the menu. The price is $14 plus gratuity and tax.
- What about my Audio Visual needs? A list of equipment and prices will be supplied to you upon request from your catering manager. If you require equipment that we do not have in-house, we will gladly recommend a local vender.
- Who supplies the music & table décor? Your catering manager will be happy to supply a list of recommended local vendors.
Miscellaneous:
- Is parking complimentary? Yes
- Is taxi or shuttle service available? Morro Bay does not have any taxi companies. It is best to rent a car.
- Do you have a restaurant on site? Yes, we have two bay view restaurants. Breakfast and lunch are served in the Bay Club. The Orchid Restaurant serves dinner. Evening cocktails and appetizers are available in the Bay Club.
- Is there music in the lounge? Yes, live music is available Thursday - Saturday evenings in the Bay Club Lounge.
- Will the hotel deliver gift items to guest rooms? Yes, the charge is $2 per room.
- Can packages be pre-shipped for my event? Yes, packages may be stored up to 3 days prior to your event at no additional charge. Please clearly identify your group name on the label.
- Is there a business center on property? The Front Desk will be happy to assist you with photocopies, faxes, etc. Computers and e-mail are not available for guest use.
- Do guestrooms have access to the internet? Yes, Ethernet is available in all guestrooms for $9.95 for 24 hours.
- Will my cell phone have service? You will probably be able to receive cell phone service on most of the property. Guests have reported lack of service in meeting rooms and some guestrooms.
- Do you have a pool? Yes, our pool is heated to 75 degrees year round. Hours of operation are dawn until dusk.
- Is there a fitness center on property? Day passes are available at the Front Desk to a local fitness center for $10 per day. Beach cruiser bicycles are available at no charge. Also, we have a massage center on property.
