 The Morro Bay Maritime Museum, managed and maintained by the Central Coast Maritime Museum Association is a fun and educational stop for all ages. The museum features information and memorabilia celebrating the history of the maritime industry across the Central Coast of California. Along with its efforts to build a Maritime Interpretive Center, CCMMA hosts visiting tall ships and also preserves historical vessels. The CCMA currently features the historical tug boat Alma and the classic Monterey-style fishing boat Spindrift. Stop by for a museum trip unlike any other.

Today it is managed as a historic park and wildlife sanctuary. ​Tours are offered every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning year-round. Summer season, June 15 - August 31: tours are offered every morning except Sundays and Wednesdays.
